Okay, I had these going a couple of days already, and they look good. I'm sick to death of eerie cold-white lights, and see that these are warm/cold/mix so got these specifically for the warm-white LEDs. And they look quite good, and don't attract nearly as many bugs as cold-white.

I charged these via usb. The teeny LED glows red when charging and blue when done. The thick plug (different cable than the included one) blocked most of the port so I could only see the LED at a certain angle, but it worked regardless. Warm was quite nice, mix was also pretty nice, and cold was cold. At least you have your preference.

Brightest is supposed to be 300lm, which seems about right. I don't think minimum is 1% or even 10%, as it seems much brighter, but it is noticeably dimmer, so you can tweak it down for longer light if it runs out of juice too quickly. I wanted to see how long the light would last, but had to go to sleep before it fizzled out.

That said, it did indeed charge via the panel, which turned off the light, and when it got dark, it lit up, as expected. The diffused front provides a nice even blanket of light, which is nice.

The solar panel swivels up and down, and I do wish it would be, say, on a swivel instead of hinge, as where I have the light mounted, I get more sun from the right early in the day and from the left late in the day, and no direct sunlight at all in between, so aiming it to the right to catch more morning sun would be better for me. Still, indirect light should hopefully still keep it charged adequately.

Mounting could either be directly to the wall with 2 screws, or use the spiky thing to plant it in the ground. Right now I have mine in a flowerpot but plan to whip up a little bracket to use the screws to mount it more permanently.

Anyhoo, I now have a nice warm glow in the backyard where there was none before, so I'm happy.

Very bright, more than I expected . If the sun doesn't shine enough , they go out before the night is over.
