This LED light is easy to install and comes with everything you need to replace an existing light The instructions are pretty straightforward but they do leave out the fact that you need to install the studs into the base before you fasten it to the ceiling with all the settings from cool to warm I feel like you can always find whatever temperature you're looking for for any room It's nothing fancy but it definitely gets the job done and works well.

I wanted to update the dome fixture in my guest bedroom with something more modern. This LED ceiling light looked like a good option, with the low profile modern look and at 13" was sized appropriately for my room. It actually makes my room look bigger.

Installation was straight forward, just connecting the three wires into the electrical box and then attaching the base of the fixture into the electrical box with 2 bolts. Once the base plate was installed and power back on, I tried the 5 different color temp settings before settling on 3K. The bottom diffuser attaches with 3 decorative nuts and I was done. One thing I do like is that the color temp settings are easily accessible, thus I can easily get to them if I ever decide to go with a different color temp. I have other light fixtures where the design makes it much harder to change the color temp after installation.

Although its body is plastic, once it's mounted you really can't tell if it's plastic or frosted glass. It's dimmable, and I am using with a smart dimming light switch and there is no flickering. The light is bright, so the dimmer works great with it.

Photos show before and after. I had a small can light in my shower that acted more like a spot light and created terrible shadows. Instead of ripping the can fixture out of the ceiling I used a screw in bulb base with pigtail wires to hardwire to this fixture. I then drilled two holes thru the backplate of the light fixture and attached it to the ceiling with two heavy duty drywall anchors. Took all of 2-3 minutes and now I have a nice decorative fixture that provides a nice even glow in my shower. I love that it has 5 different color temperatures to select from with a switch so I was able to match it to the sconces and illuminated mirror I have. Good quality fixture and very bright. Do be careful during install though as the metal used is a very thin gauge and I did cut myself on one of the sharp edges.

The fixture is very lightweight, it has five settings that can easily be changed with a selector switch however, you do have to remove the opaque cover to reach the switch. If you have some basic handy person skills, you can easily install this light yourself. It comes with all the necessary hardware deposit thing about LED light fixtures like this is they should last a long time that is far longer than a traditional bulb, however the downside is that when the LED eventually fails usually that means you��ll throw the fixture out and replace an entirely. however, for the price an LED bulb is comparable to this whole fixture so it��s a good value. The style of light happens to just match some other lights I have so it worked out great for me. It��s stylish doesn��t require any special skills to install should last a long time provides a nice amount of light and is adjustable to your preference of kelvin rating white.
